It's Time to Show Up!

Hey Friends!
I'm just popping in with a friendly reminder of my writing workshops this month and for the rest of the year.
This is an open call for aspiring authors of poetry or creative non-fiction who are SERIOUS about publishing next year!!
These November writing sessions are specifically for those who know they are supposed to write a book and need the foundational tools to do so.
We will cover:
· Topics/Genre
· Biblical Protocol for writers
· How to write about sensitive things
· How to preserve honesty and release opinions in the takeaway
· The importance of testimony and conveying the purpose behind it
Before I had a solid publishing date for My Soul Told On Me, I envisioned what I wanted to talk about, where I wanted it to be shelved, and most importantly, who my ideal reader was. I also mapped out what I wanted to say to them, and what emotions I wanted to evoke from them.
Now, the shift to date for my second book I’m currently writing is I’m asking God what He wants me to write, who He wants me to write for and what emotions He wants me to evoke from them. This book is His, and I surrender it to Him, even with putting my personal experiences in it.
Please note that using the written word and your voice go hand in hand. God is our first and perfect example of saying and then seeing, and before it was written, He said it.
The goal of these sessions in addition to the above, is to get comfortable with standing in the counsel of God, from the smallest to the largest issue. I want you to get comfy with saying what you write, and also to be mindful of what you say as it pertains to everyday life.
Why?
Because based on the blueprint in Genesis 1: 3-4. What you say you will see, and what you believe, is what you will bare plenty of, whether good or bad.
Moral: Sharing your story is not about how you feel about it or not; it's about sharing it in God's divine timing to then touch someone else, which could save a life or 10!
Get in position because other people's lives depend on it...not just your loved ones but those you haven't met yet, those you may never meet!
Sign up and show up by the grace of God, see you there!
